Tambovenergo’s employee became a prize winner of the qualifying round of the WorldSkills Championship

An electrician for maintenance and repair of relay protection and automation equipment of the relay protection, automation, measurement and metrology service of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division Dmitry Rtischev has been recognized as a prize winner of the qualifying round of the corporate championship of professional skills of PJSC Rosseti "Young Professionals" WorldSkills. The championship was held from 17 to 21 September 2018 under the motto "Reliable people - reliable grids". The employee of Tambovenergo Dmitry Rtischev took the third place in the competence "Maintenance and repair of relay protection and automation equipment".

Twenty-one power engineers from four enterprises competed at the training grounds of "Gorenki" and "Dorozhnaya" of the Training Centre of PJSC "MOESK" for four days - MOESK, IDGC of Centre, IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, LLC "RN-Vankor".

According to the standards of WorldSkills, after the completion of all the stages of the championship, participants were included in the unified system of assessments of WorldSkills Russia. Based on the results of their processing, the result sheets were obtained on the WorldSkills 500-point scale.

A highly professional jury evaluated contestants for three competencies: "Operation of cable power lines", "Maintenance and repair of relay protection and automation equipment", "Intelligent electricity metering system". As a result of the championship, all the prize winners were awarded diplomas and certificates of the championship participant.

Dmitry Rtischev has been working at Tambovenergo for more than four years, he came to the power engineering industry after graduating from the Michurinsky Polytechnic School, having received the specialty "Electrician-Technician". During his time at the enterprise he proved himself to be an energetic, initiative, respectful young power engineer.

"Dmitry Rtischev proved himself worthy in the qualifying round of the corporate championship of professional skills of PJSC Rosseti as part of the team of young power engineers of IDGC of Centre. I am sure that thanks to such specialists our branch will successfully cope with all the tasks set, master new technologies and provide reliable power supply to consumers," stressed Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
