25 September 2018, IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division held a meeting of the commission for assessing the enterprise’s readiness for the autumn-winter period. As a result of it, the chairman of the commission - the head of the safety service of IDGC of Centre Alexander Roschupkin presented the certificate of readiness to Acting Director of the branch Nikolay Bogomolov. The certificate of readiness for work in the autumn-winter period of 2018-2019 is a document confirming the readiness of Tambov power engineers to work during the autumn-winter maximum of loads.
The commission estimated the results of measures taken in Tambovenergo to improve the reliability of operation of electric grids and power equipment during low temperatures. The members of the commission unanimously decided on the availability of the Tambovenergo branch to pass the winter.
The receipt of the certificate of readiness was preceded by serious preparation of the power grid facilities of the branch - the implementation of repair and investment programs, as well as additional measures to improve the reliability of equipment.
At the moment, the emergency reserve of Tambovenergo is 100% complete. Means of communication, dispatching technological control systems, systems of backup power supply of the executive office are in good order and are ready for operation under conditions of maximum loads. The availability for use of 17 mobile stand-by sources of electricity supply with a total capacity of 0.58 MW was checked.
The branch formed 10 crews of increased mobility, consisting of 60 people, which have new specialized vehicles (10 crew cars and 10 aerials), provided with electric protective equipment and personal protective gear, inventory, communication equipment, gasoline generators and are ready to eliminate emergency situations, including in conditions of low temperatures. Also, if necessary, 83 crews consisting of 447 people, 184 off-road and specialized vehicles can be simultaneously used to carry out emergency repairs in Tambovenergo.
"Getting the certificate of readiness for work in the autumn-winter period of 2018-2019 is a natural assessment of the results of our specialists’ work. The branch coped with the task and prepared the power grid complex of the Tambov region for reliable work in the winter period," stressed Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
