The action "Current to lock" started in Belgorodenergo

IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division started an action on electrical safety "Current to lock". The first lesson for pupils of the 7th grade of Razumenskaya school # 1 was conducted by safety engineers in the framework of the Single Safety Day, organized with the participation of power engineers, representatives of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Belgorod region and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Belgorod region for 750 schoolchildren from the Belgorod region.

The venue of the action "Current to lock" was the transformer substation located near the school. The children learned what the power facility looks like and what it is intended for, what can penetration into its territory result and where to call if locks and other locking devices are broken.

Together with an engineer from Belgorodenergo, the schoolchildren worked out the "goose" step to exit from the danger zone, remembered conductors and dielectrics, repeated the rules of electrical safety while fishing, doing selfie and other outdoor games.

The action "Current to lock" is aimed at attracting public attention to the danger of electric injury due to illiteracy near power facilities whose locking devices are damaged by vandals. From 21 September to 15 October, it passes through the entire territory of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region. In the Belgorod region, at least 20 lessons will be organized near power facilities located at school playgrounds, home areas, parks and squares.
