Belgorodenergo takes part in the Science Festival of the South-West of Russia

IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division takes part in the Science Festival of the South-West of Russia, which brought together representatives of scientific communities from the Belgorod, Moscow, Orel, Kursk regions and Rostov-on-Don. The Science Festival is held in Belgorod within the framework of the All-Russian Science Festival NAUKA 0+. Within two days about 8 thousand people can become guests of various events.

At the central interactive exhibition of the "Science Guide" festival, which takes place at the exhibition complex "Belexpocentre", Belgorodenergo introduces visitors to innovative technologies in the electric power industry, up-to-date developments and interactive programs demonstrating the possibilities of saving energy resources in production and at home.

The exposition of the branch is located in the unit "Technopark". Here you can find out what modern energy is, what a smart city is, what innovative projects are implemented in the power grid today, how an energy efficient transformer substation works, what is the advantage of an automated street lighting control system, see and calculate the effect of using different types of lamps, and also to make a tour of the Centre for Energy Efficiency.

The festival program includes 203 different events. One of them will be the SCIENCE SLAM SCHOOL BELGOROD-2018 scientific show, where Anna Archibasova, a finalist of the energy project shift of PJSC "Rosseti", will present her project "Analysis of a load structure with consumers".

"The project, which Anna will present at the show, was developed by her in co-authorship with guys from Ekaterinburg, Saransk and Samara in the framework of the energy project shift of "Rosseti" for winners and prize-winners of the first All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in physics, mathematics and computer science," explained the instructor of Anna Archibasova , Head of the Department for Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency Improvement of IDGC of Centre Natalia Yakshina. "Our company is interested in working with talented prospective young people and in the practical side of such studies. We face global challenges, which are to be solved by such young and energetic people armed with deep knowledge and non-standard ideas. Behind them is the future."

The scientific festival is held in the region for the sixth time, however, Belgorod was chosen as the central regional site for the first time. During 21 and 22 September, at the exhibition complex "Belexpocentre" and the Belgorod State University within the framework of the festival there will be a series of mass cognitive show programs, master classes, interactive exhibitions, scientific shows, excursions for schoolchildren, students and adults, leading Russian and foreign scientists will give lectures on the latest discoveries and developments, universities and other organizations of the regions will present their scientific achievements.
