A graduate of the Energy Project Shift of PJSC "Rosseti", an 11th grade pupil of the Belgorod Lyceum # 9 Anna Archibasova will take part in the Youth Day #VmesteYarche of the International Forum "Russian Energy Week (REW) - 2018", which will be held on 6 October in Moscow. The key event of the Youth Day will be a meeting "without ties" with the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, where personnel reservists will be able to personally ask a question on an interesting topic.
The graduate of the project shift will get acquainted with the potential for the development of the energy complex of Russia, the experience of implementing major projects in the field of energy and energy efficiency, and together with guys from Ekaterinburg, Saransk and Samara, at one of the interactive sessions of the forum will be able to present a jointly developed project on the topic "Analysis of the load structure of consumers".
The authors of the project are the participants of the energy project shift, organized by Rosseti this summer in the children’s centre "Orlyonok" for winners and prize-winners of the first All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in physics, mathematics and computer science. It is based on the creation of a special device designed to determine the structure of consumption of power equipment connected to the grid. According to the eleventh-grader, the topic attracted her by its relevance: such a device can be demanded both in everyday life (since it will help save the family budget) and in production - to combat "leakage" of electricity, misuse of energy resources or simply theft. The device consists of a current sensor equipped with a special micro-controller, a data collection server and a web-interface, connected after an electricity meter and records all load in the grid, breaking into components. The prototype demonstrated high accuracy of data processing - about 98.7%, and up to 5.6% of potential energy savings of a single office centre or institution.
The schoolchildren already presented their development in the semifinal of the All-Russian competition of innovative projects and developments in the field of electric power industry "Energy breakthrough". Participation in such a large event as the Russian Energy Week will give the project a new impetus, and will also help pass qualitative refinement to become a part of modern infrastructure that meets not only current but also promising requirements to the quality and reliability of electricity supply to consumers.
The International Forum "Russian Energy Week" was established by the Russian Federation Government in 2016 to demonstrate the prospects of the Russian fuel and energy complex and realize the potential of international cooperation in the energy sector. The forum is the main platform for discussing the main challenges facing the energy sector of the economy and the current problems of the industry development. In 2018, it will be held in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" in the period from 3 to 6 October. The Youth Day #VmesteYarche REW 2018 will be held on 6 October and will bring together more than 2,500 young professionals, students and schoolchildren, as well as about 500 leaders and representatives of the fuel and energy companies.
