Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division conduct systematic work on training schoolchildren of the Kursk region on the basics of rational and safe use of energy resources. One of its key areas is energy saving lessons. The next thematic class took place in the form of an advisory at the Chermoshnyansk secondary school in Medvensky district of the Kursk region. Twenty schoolchildren aged 13-14 took part in it.
During the class, the staff of the branch touched upon the issues of lean attitude to energy, talked about modern energy-saving technologies and simple rules of behaviour that help save energy resources. At the end of the class, the power engineers held a quiz on energy saving. On the interactive panel, the children checked their knowledge, choosing an answer option for questions related to energy saving.
The pedagogical staff of the school thanked the power engineers for the interesting lesson and expressed hope for further cooperation with Kurskenergo.
In total, since the beginning of 2018, Kurskenergo’s specialists conducted 57 classes on energy saving in educational institutions of the region. Another 15 lessons are planned to be held before the end of this year.
It is worth noting that the current issues of energy saving and energy efficiency will be discussed within the framework of the forum "Russian Energy Week", which will be held with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia on 3-6 October in Moscow, where the delegation of IDGC of Centre will have specialists in energy saving and energy efficiency of Kurskenergo.
