IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division within the framework of the action "NO Theft!" continues to popularize among inhabitants of the region a culture of honest energy consumption. The next event from this cycle was held recently in the city Park of Culture and Rest of Tambov.
During its course the power engineers explained to consumers what kind of responsibility follows from non-contractual and non-metered electric energy consumption, told about the need for timely installation and replacement of metering devices, and distributed thematic information materials. In total, the participants of the action were more than three hundred visitors to the park, who unanimously supported the initiative of Tambovenergo’s employees to counter energy theft.
"We and our colleagues believe that such actions are an effective way of attracting public attention to the problem of theft of electricity," stressed Roman Karpushin, an active participant in the action "NO Theft", a specialist of category 1 of the section for interaction with market subjects of the office for sale of services of Tambovenergo.
"With regard to violators who illegally consume electricity, court decisions are made to recover the damage incurred by the company, the applicant’s materials on facts of unauthorized use of electricity are sent to law enforcement agencies," stressed Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
