IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division pays much attention to the professional training of personnel. In the first half of 2018, 3.96 million rubles were allocated for these purposes. 439 employees of the branch passed training in various specialties and areas.
The whole system of organization of training of personnel of the branch is aimed at maintaining high professional level of employees, creating conditions for their career and personal growth. The personnel are provided with vocational training and certification for the right to admit to performing a special type of work. Since the beginning of 2018, 211 workers, 153 managers and 75 specialists from Smolenskenergo have been able to improve their qualifications.
Employees of the branch mastered new knowledge in the field of labour protection, safe work and fire safety. So, in the first half of the year 38 people upgraded their qualifications with a test of their knowledge of labour protection in the operation of electrical installations. In July 2018, 30 employees received training under the program "Vocational training of individuals for the right to work with hazardous wastes" in a private institution for additional professional education "Training Centre" Profesiya Prombesopasnost". The number of trainees included chiefs and chief engineers of Distribution Zones, crew masters, transport repair engineers, environmental engineers and other personnel categories. Specialists note that such training is mandatory for newly accepted (or transferred to other posts) staff.
84 employees were trained under the topics "operation and work performance at facilities supervised by Rostekhnadzor", "testing and measurement", "transportation and permit of vehicles on the line", "admission to work as a resuscitation instructor and to train personnel in methods and ways of providing first aid". 12 drivers were trained in the course of defensive driving.
Smolenskenergo is interested in employees with specialized and higher education. The management of the branch sends employees for training under special programs of professional retraining and advanced training to the branch of NRU MPEI in the city of Smolensk, to the Ivanovo State Power Engineering University and other specialized educational institutions.
Close cooperation of Smolenskenergo with higher and secondary specialized educational institutions allows not only to ensure a high level of qualification of employees, but also to replenish the staff with young prospective specialists.
