Kostromaenergo congratulated first-graders

On the eve of the start of the new school year, the traditional event "Day of the Energy First-Grader" was held at IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division, within the framework of which power engineers congratulated children of employees of the enterprise - future school children on the Knowledge Day and conducted a safety lesson for them.

The director of the Kostroma branch of IDGC of Centre Alexander Glebov noted that this is the beginning of schooling - the first important step in the lives of the children. The parents of first-graders also leave for a new life stage, because the progress and future of the schoolchildren depends on their support and attention.

The very first lesson for the first-graders was the electrical safety class, which was conducted for them by specialists of the safety service. The children were told about the rules of behaviour near operating electrical installations, warned of the danger that electric current contained in them, showed warning signs and posters, demonstrated on the Gosha simulator how to provide first aid to an injured person with electric shock. The lesson was finished by viewing a thematic cartoon.

Power engineering veterans also congratulated the first-graders on the upcoming holiday, and employees of Kostromaenergo organized an entertaining program for the children, after which they were presented with gifts.

"We have been conducting the "Day of the Energy First-Grader" for eight years already," stresses Nadezhda Muravieva, the head of the HR department at IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division. "We hope that after years of finishing from high school and then receiving a specialized education, the children will come to work in the energy sector and will continue the work begun by their parents."
