Kostromaenergo in the first half of the year collected from non-payers in court more than 17 million rubles for transmitted electricity

27.08.2018

IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division continues its systematic work to recover accounts receivable for electricity transmission services. Its important direction is claims and lawsuits.

In the first half of the year, experts of the legal unit of Kostromaenergo filed 168 lawsuits seeking collection of receivables for a total of more than 196 million rubles. In 158 cases, including claims previously directed, decisions were made to recover 17.1 million rubles in favour of the company. During the same period, 136 enforcement orders were sent to bailiffs for a total of 36.6 million rubles.

Currently, in the production of courts of various instances, there are 106 lawsuits of power engineers against unscrupulous payers for a total of 283 million rubles.

However, despite all efforts, the level of overdue accounts receivable of Kostromaenergo remains high: as of 1 July, it amounted to 342.3 million rubles. The entire amount falls on two debtors: PJSC "Kostroma Retail Company" (315.3 million rubles) and OJSC "Oboronenergosbyt" (27 million rubles).

It should be noted that actions of non-payers jeopardize the reliability of power supply to consumers in the region, since the funds received by Kostromaenergo for the provision of electricity transmission services are used, among other things, to implement production programs. The enterprise will consistently continue the work on recovery of accounts receivable, using for this purpose all mechanisms provided by the current legislation.
