IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division held competitions of professional skills of drivers. Teams of the Central, Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western sections of the branch took part in them, each of them included drivers of cars "UAZ", "GAZ", "KAMAZ", and also a mechanic for repairing vehicles of the section.
The program of the competitions consisted of three stages: testing the knowledge of drivers of traffic rules, a set of exercises for driving a car in an auto test track and providing first aid in case of a traffic accident. The professionalism of the participants was assessed by a panel of judges, which included managers of production and technical services of Kurskenergo.
As a result of the competitions, the driver of the Western section, Alexander Korostelev, was recognized as the best in driving a "GAZ" truck, he also won in the stage of rendering first aid to the injured. The best skills of driving a "UAZ" car was demonstrated by the driver of the Northern section Ivan Sobolev. Among the drivers of "KAMAZ" trucks, the representative of the Northern section Yury Pugachev won. The best knowledge of traffic rules was shown by Alexander Tolokonin (Central section) and Ivan Sobolev (Northern section). The winners were awarded with certificates of honour of the enterprise and valuable gifts.
Professional skills competitions are held in Kurskenergo to assess and improve the skills of drivers, to promote road safety, to improve measures that ensure quality of service, repair of vehicles and safety of production. "We are interested in such competitions to be held regularly - this is the main way to show your skills in the business. The efficiency and speed of operation of first responding crews largely depends on the professionalism, the ability of drivers to work in extreme weather conditions," stressed Alexander Rudnevsky, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director.
