Within the framework of the third All-Russian Energy Saving Festival "Together brighter", employees of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division in the summer of 2018 held a series of energy saving classes in children’s health camps located near Smolensk.
During the events, the children learned what energy is and why it should be cared for, what must be done to save the light and heat in the house. Great interest was caused by the board game "House with the Mind", clearly demonstrating the rules of energy saving in the room. The children were pleased to get acquainted with modern energy-saving technologies, participated in quizzes and answered questions about the careful attitude to energy resources.
IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division has been actively supporting the initiative of the Ministry of Energy of Russia for a number of years, aimed at educating the younger generation for a cautious attitude to energy resources and the environment. Communication with preschoolers, schoolchildren and students on the topics of energy saving and energy efficiency is carried out by power engineers all the time. 29 September 2018, as part of the celebration of the City Day of Smolensk, a number of events of the festival "Together brighter" are planned, where Smolenskenergo’s employees plan to act as organizers and most active participants.
