22.08.2018

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division and representatives of the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service in the Tver region conducted a joint raid. Early in the morning, the power engineers and bailiffs visited debtors who had outstanding debts for the supplied electric energy accumulated in the period from May 2013 to April 2014, when the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre performed the functions of an electricity supplier of last resort in the region.

During the raid, the power engineers and bailiffs visited several addresses in Zavolzhsky district of the city of Tver, where debtors are registered - individuals. The property status of the debtors was checked. The bailiffs presented writs for execution of the court decision and notification of the repayment of the debt. In addition, they conducted an explanatory conversation with the non-payers and their relatives about the need to pay the existing debts.

"Collection of accounts receivable for the delivered electric energy and services for its transmission is an important line of the branch’s activity. Since the beginning of 2018, the legal service of Tverenergo filed 361 lawsuit applications for a total of 229,023 thousand rubles. Upon enactment of judicial acts, collection of accounts receivable is carried out jointly with the Office of the Federal Service of Court Bailiffs in the Tver region in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation. We thank the regional representatives of the agency for the interaction and invaluable assistance in the collection of accounts receivable, because the stable and efficient operation of the power grid complex of the Upper Volga Region directly depends on the observance of the payment discipline," stressed Manvel Mazhonts, Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division director.

Meanwhile, despite the legitimate claims of the power engineers, a number of consumers, both physical and legal entities, continue to ignore the requirements for debt repayment. The Tver branch of IDGC of Centre draws attention to the fact that for non-enforcement of the court decision that came into force in accordance with Article 315 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, criminal liability is provided for the head of the legal entity.

Acting Head of the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service in the Tver region Nadezhda Semenova confirms the urgency of the problem of recovering the debt, which affected not only IDGC of Centre, but the entire fuel and energy complex of our region: "Currently, there are 787 court decisions on execution. Between the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre and the Office of the Federal Bailiff Service in the Tver region, there is ongoing information exchange. We are ready to support each other, and our joint raids will be continued on a planned basis.
