Tambovenergo repaired over 200 kilometres of overhead power lines for six months

IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division summed up the results of the implementation of the repair program for six months of 2018. All activities scheduled from January to June were fully implemented.

67 transformer substations of 6-10 kV, 114 transformers of 10/0.4 kV and about 204 kilometres of overhead lines of 0.4-110 kV were repaired. 262 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines were cleared from tree and shrub vegetation.

In total, in 2018, Tambovenergo plans to repair 701.2 kilometres of overhead lines and 129 transformer substations, clear more than 479 hectares of ROWs of overhead lines, and repair 35-110 kV substation equipment. Most of the work will be completed by 1 October.

"The implementation of the repair program will ensure the reliability of power supply to consumers in the Tambov region, improve the quality of electricity transmission, as well as prepare the electricity grid of the region for the autumn-winter period of 2018-2019," stressed Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
