IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division in mid-August 2018 started operating a new trust line at +7 (4812) 42-98-98 calling which any resident of the Smolensk region can report on possible abuses and facts of corruption of employees of the branch, as well as of known facts of theft of electric power, electrical equipment and other unlawful actions at electric power facilities of the region.
The phone line will work toll-free and around the clock. On working days from 8:00 am to 05:00 pm calls will be taken by security officers of the branch, at other times the answering machine works. Information is also received from anonymous applicants.
Suppression of abuses by officials is one of the most important priorities for activities of IDGC of Centre in the field of security. As early as 2015, the company joined the Anti-Corruption Charter of Russian Business, publicly affirming its readiness to implement measures to prevent and combat corruption, create conditions for public condemnation and rejection of corruption manifestations when interacting with public authorities and in corporate relations.
The security department of the Smolensk branch of the company carries out regular investigations on an ongoing basis, and also actively cooperates with law enforcement bodies in identifying cases of abuse, damaging the company, bribing employees, and suppressing other unlawful actions.
