The next Safety Day was held in Sharyinsky Distribution Zone of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division. This event is held in all production departments of the company every month to monitor staff compliance with labour protection rules during work.
The commission, which included heads of the technical unit and specialized services of the executive office of Kostromaenergo, checked the readiness of the Distribution Zone for the autumn-winter period, the emergency reserve stock, storage of materials in warehouses and open areas. Also, the checking commission assessed the availability of workplaces with current technical, operational, organizational documentation, etc.
Based on the results of the check, they developed a number of activities aimed at improving the professional skills of personnel in the field of labour protection, technical operation of equipment, fire safety and timelines for their implementation were outlined.
Safety days are an important component of the system of preserving the life and health of workers in the work process. Such measures are carried out with the aim of preventing occupational injuries, raising the culture of production, increasing staff responsibility for compliance with labour protection norms and regulations, technological and labour discipline, reducing the likelihood of violations that could lead to negative consequences in the workplace.
