Yarenergo determined the best members of students’ crews

IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division held the first in the history competitions for professional training of students’ crews. Members of construction crews from the Aviation College - a structural unit of the RSATU named after P.A. Solovyov, the Yaroslavl Automotive College and the Kazan State Energy University, took part in them.

The competitions were held in Rostov on the basis of the training centre of Rostovsky Distribution Zone. The teams had to go through four stages: checking knowledge of existing norms, rules and instructions using a PC, providing first aid to the victim from the action of electric current using a robot simulator, measuring the resistivity of the ground and measuring the transformer substation circuit, measuring the insulation resistance of the 10 kV transformer.

Professional knowledge and skills of energy students were assessed by responsible managers from the relevant units of Yarenergo.

According to the results of all four stages, the team "Turbo 1" from the Kazan State University scored the highest. The second place went to students of the same university from the team "Turbo 2". The third place was taken by the team "Electric PRO" from the Yaroslavl Automotive College. In the fourth place - "MEP" from the Aviation College - a structural unit of the RSATU named after P.A. Solovyov.

"These are the first competitions in my life, and immediately so responsible," a student of the Kazan State Energy University Irek Fazylzyanov shares his impressions. "Very interesting! We have the skills, we were taught this, and in theory we all seriously trained."

According to the general opinion of the refereeing committee, each participant of the competitions showed a high professional level, showed himself worthily in both team and individual competitions. As a result, all the members of the competing teams received prizes and diplomas of the participants.

"Competitions and testing of professionalism are necessary for any large enterprise, and IDGC of Centre pays the most serious attention to this aspect," stressed Anton Gerasimov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Yarenergo division director. "We, when preparing these competitions, worked through all the nuances, set ourselves the task - to include the best of the guys in the staff reserve and offer them an individual program after training. I want them to have a positive experience, and we have prepared good qualified personnel for our company. We have always approached the issues of working with young people very responsibly. We consider the practice of students’ crews positive, and it will be continued."
