Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division continue to conduct electrical safety lessons for children and adolescents in summer health camps of the Tambov region. Regular classes were held in the camps "Visly Bor" in Michurinsky district, "Zhemchuzhinka" in Kirsanovsky district, "Iskorka" in Sosnovsky district, and also in the Rakshinsky children’s cardio-rheumatological sanatorium in Morshansky district. In total, more than 500 people participated in them.
The children learned about the basic rules of electrical safety and the importance of warning signs installed on electrical equipment, watched videos that explained the danger of unauthorized entry into power facilities, took part in fascinating contests and quizzes. Tambovenergo’s employees demonstrated to them the methods of providing first aid to the victim from the impact of electric current, and at the end of the lessons they were given thematic brochures and posters to consolidate the received knowledge.
"Work on the prevention of electrical injury among children and adolescents is particularly relevant during the summer holidays, when they spend more time in the street without adult supervision. Therefore, throughout the summer period, Tambovenergo’s specialists conduct lessons in suburban and school camps," stressed Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division director Nikolay Bogomolov.
The lessons of electrical safety are one of the most important activities of the program to reduce risks of injuries to third parties at power facilities of IDGC of Centre. Until the end of summer, Tambovenergo’s employees will conduct thematic classes in all summer health camps of the Tambov region.
