Over the six months of 2018, specialists of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division repaired 986,554 km of power lines of all voltage classes in different districts of the region. They replaced 3,722 insulators, 529 poles and 38,583 km of wire. Clearing of ROWs along power lines from the tree and shrub vegetation was performed in the volume of 899.22 hectares, expansion of ROWs along power lines was made in the volume of 618.66 hectares.
A total of 375 6-10/0.4 kV transformer stations and 68 power transformers was overhauled in the 0.4-10 kV distribution grid. 26 breakers and 34 disconnectors were repaired at 35-110 kV high-voltage substations, 122 support-rod insulators were replaced, 3 power transformers were overhauled.
The bulk of the repair program of Smolenskenergo will be carried out by own forces, without involvement of contractors. Peak work is at the end of the second and third quarters of the year. Implementation of the repair program of the branch is aimed at ensuring the operability of lines and substations, failure-free passage of the autumn-winter period and a general increase in the reliability of the power grid complex in the region.
