During the first week of shock work at the All-Russian exercises of power engineers in Dagestan, specialists of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division replaced 76 poles and 3 kilometres of uninsulated wire of 0.4 kV overhead lines with self-supporting insulated wire in several settlements of Karabudakhkentsky district of the Republic. Kurskenergo’s power engineers installed 45 metering devices, including two meters in transformer substations with devices for data collection and transmission.
"We are here because the team spirit distinguishes the power engineers in any situation," says Sergey Chuikov, the master of the team of distribution grids of Fatezhsky Distribution Zone of Kurskenergo. "And irrespective of the region in which cataclysms occur, we hurry to each other to the rescue. For example, before that, I worked with my crew in Tver, Nizhny Novgorod, when there were problems with power supply due to a powerful cyclone. This is a unique experience of large-scale work, interaction, which we will apply ourselves, when we return home."
