The largest students’ construction crew "Energet" of IDGC of Centre, consisting of 31 students of the National Research University MPEI in the city of Smolensk, is currently actively working in various structural subdivisions of Smolenskenergo. After training and successfully passing examinations on labour protection, young power engineers received all the necessary permits and started work. The work will be carried out in the service area of different Distribution Zones: Smolensky, Smolensk City, Pochinkovsky, Safonovsky, and also in the southern section of the diagnostics service.
The crew is conditionally divided into groups. The largest of them, consisting of 14 students, will be engaged in taking readings of electricity meters in Smolensky district. The members of the construction crew, who will work in Smolensk City Distribution Zone, will be part of crews for operation of cable and overhead lines, a crew for diagnostics of electrical equipment, and will also work in the operational and technology and production and technology groups. The responsibilities of girls from the construction crew include working with technical documentation.
Please, be reminded that "Energet" received a work permit to work at Smolenskenergo in the summer for the fifth time, while the number of members of the construction crew has never changed. This year, Daniil Tekhneryadnev became the leader of "Energet". It is worth noting that the first leader of the construction crew, Artem Parshukov, is currently working as an engineer of the grid connection department of Smolenskenergo and in 2018 he headed the youth council of the branch. Then "Energet" was headed by Alexander Baklanov, who is now a master of a brigade for operation of overhead power lines in Smolensky Distribution Zone of the branch. Part of the students, who were at the beginning of creation of this construction crew in 2014, after receiving higher education, are already employees of various subdivisions of the branch, are successfully moving along the career ladder and defending the honour of the branch in corporate, sports and scientific events.
In addition to daily work at power facilities, the members of the construction crew will be invited to participate in corporate events such as the Sports Games of power engineers of the Smolensk region and a bowling tournament, as well as visit energy facilities and will be involved in the implementation of the program of measures for prevention of electric injuries at power facilities of the region.
The working season will end on 17 August.
