Members of the students’ construction crew "Energetik", working at facilities of Kurskenergo, conducted about 1,000 checks of private sector customers

The fifth working season of the students’ construction crew "Energetik" continues at IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo. Among the members of the construction crew there are students of the Southwestern State University (SWSU), Rylsk Aviation Technical College - the State Federal-Funded Educational Institution of Higher Professional Training "Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation" and the Lgov branch of the Regional Budget Professional Educational Institution "Kursk Assembly Technical School".

Since the beginning of July, after passing through the initial briefing on labour protection and fire safety, 14 young people have started to work on taking readings of electric power meters. For two weeks, under the supervision of experienced specialists of the branch, they conducted about 1,000 checks of private sector customers.

A cultural program has also been organized for the students. They visited on a tour the house-museum of the writer Arkady Gaidar. In the next few days, the young people will hold a friendly match in mini-football with the team of the Youth Council of Kurskenergo. In addition, the students of the construction crew will take part in conducting electrical safety lessons in children’s health camps in the Kursk region.
