Employees of IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo and members of the students’ construction crew "Phase" working at facilities of the enterprise, organized an interactive lesson and flash mob on electrical safety for teenagers who are having holidays at the sanatorium "Dubravushka" in Korochansky district. More than 70 schoolchildren took part in the event.
The power engineers reminded the children about the main dangers associated with the impact of electric current, after which they offered them some practical tasks on the topic. The schoolchildren learned why games should not be organized near power lines and substations, which signs warn of the danger of electric shock, and also competed in replacing blown lamp bulbs and exiting the step voltage zone. In addition, they received the skills of first aid to the victim from the impact of electric current.
At the end of the lesson, the energy students held a learning flash mob for the teenagers. The guys wrote down on paper the most important rules of electrical safety, made as paper planes and simultaneously launched into the air. The schoolchildren handed all the new knowledge of electricity over to the next shift.
