IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division held an event to honour participants of the power company’s team who became the winner of the professional skills competitions of crews for repair and maintenance of power lines of IDGC of Centre and IDGC of Centre and Volga Region, which took place in early July in the Republic of Mari El.
Crews from 20 Russian regions participated in the competition. The team of Bryanskenergo included the master of the Dyatkovo crew of the Bryansk section of the power line service of the high voltage grids office Albert Zamaliyev and electricians to repair overhead power lines Sergey Fomin, Alexey Nikulin and Nikolay Stepin. The team was supervised by the deputy chief operating engineer - the head of the high voltage grids office Sergey Skorobrekha. The Bryansk power engineers confidently passed all the competition stages, and having scored 1,299 points out of 1,400 possible, took the first place. Now the team of Bryanskenergo will represent IDGC of Centre at the professional skills competition of PJSC Rosseti, which will be held in Nizhnevartovsk in late July.
The solemn meeting, which was attended by the participants of the competitions, heads of the branch’s units, students of construction crews, was opened by Alexander Kosarim, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division director. He thanked the participants of the winning team for the high professionalism demonstrated by them during the competitions, and responsible attitude to the fulfillment of the tasks in the daily work.
"The victory of Bryanskenergo once again confirms that we have highly qualified specialists, who are able to provide reliable power supply for residents of the Bryansk region," stressed Alexander Kosarim.
Vasily Zakharenko, Chairman of the Veterans’ Council of Bryanskenergo addressed with words of welcome to the participants of the competitions, having stressed that the younger generation of power engineers of the Bryansk branch of IDGC of Centre are worthy successors of their mentors, who were at the source of the power grid complex of the Bryansk region. He expressed hope that the power engineers will continue to achieve high results in competitions of various levels, increasing its professionalism to work for the benefit of residents of the region.
The team leader Sergey Skorobrekha told the audience about the course of the competitions, focusing on the team’s cohesion and the high responsibility of each of the crew’s members. During the passage of the competitive stages, the Bryansk power engineers demonstrated a high level of skills necessary for effective and safe operation of 110 kV overhead transmission lines, he noted. At the end of the meeting the winners were awarded prizes.
