More than a thousand children became participants of route games held by Kostromaenergo in June

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division in June conducted 12 route games on electrical safety in the country children’s health camps in the Kostroma region. Together with the power engineers, representatives of the regional offices of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the regional branch of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society and fire units took part in organizing these events. A total of more than 1,000 children participated in the games.

The specialists of Kostromaenergo familiarized them with the rules of conduct in the vicinity of existing electrical installations, warned of the danger posed by electric current, showed warning signs and posters. The participants of the games had the opportunity to try on the equipment of electricians (protective helmets, dielectric gloves and boots), they also received handbooks with tips on how to handle electricity properly. The representatives of other departments taught children how to use fire extinguishers correctly, told them the rules of behaviour on the water, how to avoid panic in emergency situations, etc.

In total during the summer holidays the specialists of Kostromaenergo together with the other organizers will hold about 20 route games in the country health camps.
