Veterans of Kostromaenergo joined the traditions of their native land

The trade union committee of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division organized an excursion to the Museum of Cheese for veterans of the enterprise. The event was timed to the cheese festival in the regional capital.

The veterans especially liked the stories about the traditions of different peoples in the preparation of cheese, an interactive program was remembered, during which they mastered the old recipes for the production of Kostroma cheese on a mini-cheese machine, and some listened with interest to the cheese sommelier about the features of the cheese diet, the correct use of this product.

This is not the first local history tour of the Kostroma brands for energy veterans. In recent years, they managed to get acquainted with the native land of the patriot of the Russian land Ivan Susanin, visited the Snow Maiden Palace, visited the military historical department of the Kostroma Museum-Reserve and the Museum-Estate of A.N. Ostrovsky "Schelykovo".

The public veteran organization of Kostromaenergo unites more than 800 people from different parts of the region. For them, a large number of different events are held, and they themselves are often included in the number of organizers of festivals, competitions, and events organized in Kostromaenergo. "We feel our belonging to our native Kostromaenergo," says the chairman of the veteran organization Ekaterina Ushanova. "We are very pleased that we are remembered, cared for, helped discover new corners of our native land."
