Voronezhenergo improves reliability of power supply in Ramonsky district

Specialists of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division, as part of implementation of the investment program, have begun reconstruction of 10 kV overhead line # 5, which supplies a number of settlements and industrial consumers in Ramonsky district of the Voronezh region.

The total length of the reconstructed section of the line is more than 20 km. The power engineers will install over 380 additional poles here, as well as replace the ordinary wire with self-supporting insulated wire (SIW), which is distinguished by its durability and high reliability. The work is planned to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2018. 30.5 million rubles will be spent to implement this project.

Ramonsky district is one of the most dynamically developing districts in the region. Here, the pace of housing construction is growing, new industrial enterprises are being put into operation. 10 kV overhead line # 5 provides power supply to the village of Novozhivotinnoe, the settlements of Mokhovatka, Medovka, parts of the village of Chertovitsy, more than ten horticultural associations, as well as a number of socially significant facilities, such as sewage treatment plants and a sewage pumping station of the Aydarovsky rural settlement. Modernization of the line will significantly increase its capacity, which will contribute to improving the quality and reliability of energy supply to these communities, as well as provide the opportunity for grid connection of new customers.
