IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division opened the fifth season of students’ energy crews. A solemn event dedicated to this event was held at the training centre of the branch.
The students’ crews "Fortress", "Impulse" and "Night Watch" will work at production facilities of Bryanskenergo under the guidance of experienced mentors. The first crew included 11 students from a branch of Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education NRU MPEI in the city of Smolensk, in the second - 5 students of State Budget Professional Educational Institution "Pochepsky Mechanic-Agrarian Technical School", in the third - 8 students of Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Bryansk State Agrarian University".
Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division director Alexander Kosarim congratulated the students on the beginning of the labour shift. Handing out work permits to the commanders of the crews, he noted that in the course of work in the branch the young people will be able to learn the power engineering profession "from within", in practice apply theoretical knowledge, received during training in the educational institutions.
Members of the first responding mobile crew of Mglinsky Distribution Zone of Bryanskenergo, which in 2017 took the second place in the competitions of professional skills of crews for operation of distribution grids of IDGC of Centre, held a master class for the students, demonstrating to them ways of providing first aid to the victim on the training dummy "Gosha" and installation of portable grounding without climbing a pole with the use of a set of grounding rods.
The students will be getting acquainted with the basics of the energy professions in Pochepsky, Dyatkovsky, Klintsovsky, Unechsky, Rognedinsky, Dubrovsky, Gordeevsky, Brasovsky Distribution Zones and in the service of substations in the city of Bryansk. They will participate in planned inspections of overhead lines and transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV, in clearing ROWs (cleaning logging residues) and performing construction work to execute grid connection contracts, as well as in updating dispatching names, reading metering devices, recording data in the SAP program, drawing up acts of non-metered and non-contractual consumption in areas with large losses of electricity.
Before commencing their work duties, the young people will undergo briefings on civil defense and safety. In addition, accelerated training on the profession is organized for them.
"Electrician for operation of distribution grids" with the receipt or confirmation of groups 2 and 3 on electrical safety, which were assigned to them in the educational institution. All the members are provided with special clothing and protective equipment. Employment contracts were concluded with the students with registration of labour books, they will be paid salaries.
According to Anna Gribova, the head of the HR department at Bryanskenergo, the work of the students’ crews at the branch’s facilities is not only practical assistance in carrying out the repair program, but also an opportunity to look at future graduates of energy educational institutions to further employ the most talented and promising students.
