IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division opened the fifth season of students’ energy crews of the Rosseti group of companies. Students of the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov and Novooskolsky College, studying in the direction of the electric power industry, received labour vouchers for work at power facilities.
Within a month and a half, 15 members of the construction crew "Phase" will work as electricians for operation of distribution grids in crews of Belgorodsky, Novooskolsky and Krasnogvardeysky Distribution Zones. The young people will take part in construction of new power lines, inspect and repair electrical equipment, check and take readings of meters, remove felling residues while clearing ROWs, and apply operator’s names. All of them are officially employed, provided with overalls, within a week will pass training and knowledge check in the amount of the second group on electrical safety and will be able to start working at power facilities.
At the ceremony of awarding the labour vouchers, deputy chief engineer - head of the production safety and industrial control department of Belgorodenergo Vladimir Rusanov stressed that the branch is interested in the high-quality practical training of students of energy specialties and the revival of traditions of the labour education of young people. He wished the young people fruitful work days, recommended to check and consolidate theoretical knowledge gained in the university in practice, and recalled that although on the threshold of the global era of digitalization, nothing can replace the romance of these days and the joy of simple human communication.
Chief Engineer of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, a veteran of the construction crew movement, Georgy Golikov wished the students success in the work and getting the knowledge of the school of life, teamwork and simple human relations. He recalled the important role of construction crews in the history of the country. The Soviet achievements were replaced by significant milestones of the new era. With the participation of students’ crews, power supply facilities for the World Football Championship, the energy bridge in the Crimea, the Vostochny Cosmodrome, the Boguchanskaya HPP were constructed. In the Belgorod region the construction crews for four years repaired dozens of transformer substations and about 30 km of overhead and cable power lines. The majority of former construction workers were accepted for permanent work at Belgorodenergo, many of them have already grown into real professionals.
