IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division, as part of the digitalization of grids, continues work on increasing the automation of 10 kV distribution grids. It, in particular, provides for installation of new high-tech devices - reclosers - on power lines.
Reclosers allow to automate location and isolation of faults on lines, transmitting online messages about technological violations to the operator, and also provide automatic switching of consumers to backup power. Their application helps minimize the time of breaks in the supply of electricity in case of emergency situations and, as a result, significantly improve the level of reliability and quality of power supply to consumers.
In 2018 the power company will install 4 reclosers on 10 kV overhead power lines in Tambovsky district.
