IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division held the grand opening of the fifth working season of students’ construction crews. This summer students of the electric power faculty of the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy (KSAA) will have to work at the enterprise’s facilities as part of the crew "Energy-44". The young people will be involved in repair and construction work, in activities related to provision of fire safety of substations, in laying of cable lines, in preparation of data for grid connection contracts.
The members of "Energy-44" were greeted by Alexander Glebov, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division director and Sergey Zudin, Rector of the Kostroma State Agricultural Academy. The head of Kostromaenergo gave each member a work permit. "We are grateful to Kostromaenergo for the attention and for the opportunities that the company provides to you, the future specialists of the energy industry. I’m sure you will justify the trust," Sergey Zudin stressed in his reply.
The commander of "Energy-44", Arina Smirnova, aimed her members to a positive result: "Our goal is to prove ourselves well and demonstrate in practice everything we have been taught. We are very pleased that we have the opportunity to gain experience in such a large, dynamically developing enterprise. Difficulties do not frighten - after all next to us there will be skilled instructors who will help and prompt. According to Arina, already now all the guys from her crew are planning to link their life with energy.
At the end of the solemn energy line-up, a tour to the Museum of History of the Kostroma Power System and the Grid Control Centre of Kostromaenergo was organized for the construction crew’s members.
