Power engineers of IDGC of Centre quickly restore the cyclone-disturbed power supply of consumers in a number of settlements of the Voronezh region

Due to deterioration of weather conditions in the territory of the Voronezh region, downpours and gusts of wind during the period of June 30 and July 1, specialists record temporary power supply disruptions along power lines of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division. The cyclone touched a number of settlements in districts of the region - mainly power outages were recorded in settlements of Liskinsky, Novousmansky, Ramonsky districts. The cause of technological violations is falling trees and branches on power lines, as well as crossing and breakage of wires due to strong wind. The branch introduced a high alert mode, and repair crews of Voronezhenergo are promptly eliminating technological violations from the very beginning of bad weather, paying special attention to the priority restoration of energy supply to socially important facilities: kindergartens, schools, medical institutions. Work on all sections of damaged power lines will be carried out until consumers’ energy supply is completely restored.

To ensure the stable functioning of the energy complex in the period of unfavourable weather conditions, IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division has available emergency crews, equipment and stocks, ongoing interaction with hydrometeorological services, communication with units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
