Professional skills competitions of crews for maintenance of distribution grids of 0.4 - 10 kV ended at the training centre of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division in Octyabrsky district of the Kursk region. Experts of specialized crews, who took the first places at qualifying competitions in their sections of Distribution Zones, competed for the right to be called the best.
The competitions consisted of seven stages. Their bulk was production work included in the functionality of crews of distribution grids: replacement of insulated wire on a 0.4 kV overhead line crossing the span of a 10 kV overhead line, primary connection of an apartment house from the existing 0.4 kV line without the use of an aerial platform, replacement of a 10 kV defective bushing in a 10/0.4 kV package transformer substation, etc. In addition, the participants were asked to demonstrate their professional skills in extinguishing fire at the 10/0.4 kV package transformer substation, releasing the victim with electric shock and providing him with the first aid.
At all the stages between the crews there was a stubborn struggle. As a result, the winner of the competitions was the crew of Kursky Distribution Zone consisting of the master Andrey Simonenkov, electricians Roman Maximenko and Ivan Sineokov. The second place was taken by the team of Pristensky Distribution Zone, the third went to the team of Rylsky Distribution Zone of Kurskenergo.
A master Andrey Simonenkov, a field engineer Roman Maksimenko (both Kursky Distribution Zone), an electrician of category 5 of distribution grids Evgeniy Antyukhov from Khomutovsky Distribution Zone were recognized the best in the profession.
In addition, the trade union committee of the branch presented diplomas and valuable gifts to long-term members of the union - the chief engineer of Rilsky Distribution Zone Petr Arbuzov and a crew master for operation of distribution grids of Rilsky Distribution Zone Alexey Kislov. And an electrician for operation of distribution grids from the same unit Nikolay Alipov was awarded the title "Energy Hope" as the youngest participant in the competitions.
