20 - 22 June, at the training centre of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division in Oktyabrsky district of the Kursk region there are the final competitions of professional skills among crews for maintenance of distribution grids of 0.4 - 10 kV. For the right to be called the best experts specialists of specialized crews are competing who have won the first places in qualifying competitions in their sections of Distribution Zones.
Within three days, the teams will demonstrate their professional skills when replacing insulated wire on a 0.4 kV insulated overhead line in the intersection with a 10 kV overhead line; primary connection of a residential house from the operating insulated overhead line-0.4 kV without the use of an aerial; calculation and measurement of loop resistance "phase-zero" in a 0.4 kV network and selection of a circuit breaker for line protection; replacement of a 10 kV faulty bushing at a 10/0.4 kV package transformer station and measuring the resistance of the ground loop of the 10/0.4 kV package transformer station; extinguishing fire in the 10/0.4 kV package transformer station.
In addition, the judges will check the knowledge of the participants of regulatory documents, the ability to release the victim from impact of electric current and provide him with the first aid.
The crews that win prizes on the results of the competitions will be awarded with honorary diplomas of Kurskenergo and valuable gifts. Also, the best at each stage will be marked. In addition, the trade union committee of the branch will encourage the oldest, and the youngest participant in the competitions.
"The main objectives of the competitions will be achieved if, subsequently, each of the participants ensures high quality of work, reliability and safety in the maintenance of electric grids and substations at their workplace," notes Alexander Rudnevsky, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division director.
