Employees of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division jointly with representatives of the All-Russian Voluntary Fire Society organized a KVN (the Club of the Funny and Inventive) game on the topic of life safety for children who are taking a rest in the school camp in the village of Nikolskoye of Kostromsky district.
According to the conditions of the game, its participants were invited to tell and show in practice how to act in this or that difficult situation: after being in a smoke-filled room, next to a fire or bare wire, discovering a person hit by electric shock, etc. School teachers evaluated the knowledge, skills and level of teamwork.
The game aroused great interest among the children, and the teachers thanked the organizers for an interesting and useful event.
"Such events are very useful. During the summer holidays, children spend a lot of time without adult supervision, so it is very important to teach them how to behave properly in situations that present a danger to life and health," stressed the teacher-organizer of the secondary school Alexey Utkin.
Classes on electrical safety, themed KVN and route games are part of the activities of the program for preventing children’s electric injuries of Kostromaenergo. Power engineers conduct them jointly with representatives of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Kostroma region, the regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and other departmental structures during the school holidays. This summer they plan to hold about 20 such events in places of organized recreation of children.
