A letter of gratitude was received from the head of the administration of the city of Chkalovsk in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Valery Bychenkov, by IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division. The head of the municipality thanks the enterprise and its employees for their assistance in the prompt restoration of power supply, disturbed by the weather.
Please, be reminded that 30 May this year in the Nizhny Novgorod region there was cyclone with squally wind. As a result of the disaster, electricity supply was interrupted in more than 60 localities in the region. To eliminate the consequences of the hurricane, six crews of Kurskenergo were sent to help colleagues from Nizhnovenergo.
The Kursk power engineers worked in the territory of Chkalovsky and Balakhninsky districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region. They conducted inspections and installation of dangling power lines, cleared ROWs. Thanks, among other things, to their assistance, electricity in these areas was restored in the shortest possible time. At the same time, not a single case of injuries and disconnection of socially significant facilities was allowed.
"We express our sincere gratitude to the staff of Kurskenergo for rendering assistance in carrying out emergency repair work in electrical installations," Valery Bychenkov stresses in the letter of gratitude. "Thanks to the professionalism and skill of the Kursk power engineers, it was possible to reduce the time for the restoration of power supply to consumers in the affected districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region."
