Hotline of power engineering specialists:
At the beginning of June 2018, six teams of power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division took part in the XXVIII Summer Sports Games among power companies of the Smolensk region. Their rivals in sports competitions were representatives of the branch of PJSC "Quadra - Power Generation" - "Smolensk Generation" and branch of JSC "AtomEnergoSbyt" - "SmolenskAtomEnergoSbyt".
The competitions were prepared and conducted by the management and the trade union organization of Smolenskenergo at the Safonovo stadium in the Smolensk region. About 350 power engineers took part in the event.
The competitions were held in personal and team competitions in seven sports: volleyball, mini-football, weight-lifting, tug-of-war, track and field, streetball, swimming.
Employees of the executive office of Smolenskenergo became the winner in team sports in volleyball, weightlifting, track and field, streetball and swimming. Also, the best in the team types were employees of the southern (mini-football) and the eastern (by pulling the rope) service area of the branch.
Silver medals were awarded to representatives of Smolenskenergo in volleyball and track and field athletics (the southern zone), in mini-football (Smolensk City Distribution Zone), in tug-of-war competitions and streetball (the western zone). Third places in the mini-football competition were taken by the executive office, in kettlebell lifting - by the western zone, in pulling the rope - by the southern zone, in streetball - Smolensk City Distribution Zone, in swimming - by the central zone.
In the individual event in kettlebell lifting the 1st place went to a representative of the executive office of Smolenskenergo Vitaly Golubkov, 2 place - to Alexander Marchenkov from the southern zone of responsibility of the branch.
The power engineers of the Smolensk branch of IDGC of Centre were also effective in the athletics competitions. In the team event in track and field athletics, the joint team of Smolenskenergo’s executive office deservedly received gold medals, taking the 1st place among the women’s teams in the track and field relay race 4x100 m and the 2nd place among the men’s teams.
In the individual event of swimming, representatives of the branch took all the prizes at a distance of 50 m among women, the best were Ekaterina Altukhova, Irina Timoshenkova, Svetlana Gomonyuk. In the men’s competitions among the winners were Vladislav Gamagin (1st place) and Valery Borovikov (3rd place). The team 1st place was won by sportsmen of the executive office of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division, the third place was won by representatives of the central service zone of the branch.
As a result, IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division won in the overall team standing among the power companies.
