Hotline of power engineering specialists:
Employees of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division together with representatives of the regional offices of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, employees of the State Inspectorate for Small Boats of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation (GIMS), the regional branch of the All-Russian Voluntary Firefighting Association (VDPO) and fire units in the summer months will conduct route games on the theme of safety for children who are taking a rest in school and health camps of the Kostroma region. In the first week of the summer, 4 events took place, attended by more than 200 children aged 7 to 14 years.
Divided into groups, participants of the games passed along the routes consisting of five thematic stations: "Electrical safety", "Fire safety", "Safety on the water", "Safety alphabet" and "Life safety". There they were met by representatives of specialized organizations and departments, who told how to behave in this or that emergency.
At the "Electrical safety" station, specialists of the industrial control and safety department of Kostromaenergo acquainted the children with the rules of conduct near the existing electrical installations, warn them of the danger posed by electric current, and show warning signs and posters. At the other stations representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Measures, VDPO, GIMS and the Ministry of Internal Affairs taught them how to use fire extinguishers properly, call fire brigades at 01 or 112, tell them about the rules of behaviour on the water, how to avoid panic in emergency situations, etc. At the end of the route games the young residents of Kostroma were demonstrated equipment and specialized vehicles of firefighters. The bright end point in the events was the demonstration of the work of the fire engine’s liquid fire projector.
In total, during the summer, specialists of Kostromaenergo together with the other organizers plan to conduct about 20 route games.
