Smolenskenergo’s employees received thanks for formation of energy saving skills among preschool children

A letter of gratitude addressed to Sabir Agamaliev, Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division director, was received from Olga Avdeeva, Head of kindergarten №74 "Semitsvetik" in the city of Smolensk. Within the framework of the energy saving promotion program for the younger generation in May 2018, Smolenskenergo’s specialists from the energy saving and energy efficiency office conducted a gaming session on energy saving for a preparatory group of the kindergarten. "We express our deep appreciation and gratitude to the employees of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division for the cycle of educational activities for preschool children in the field of modern energy saving technologies, for the initiative, responsiveness and active participation in the life of the kindergarten," the letter says.

The main goal of the event is to draw attention of the younger generation to the issues of rational and safe use of energy resources. The children had the opportunity to learn how to save energy in everyday life, to study different types of energy-saving lamps and to get to know their differences from conventional incandescent lamps. Smolenskenergo’s specialists are sure that the children will apply the energy saving rules in their everyday life.
