First responding mobile crews of power engineers competed for two days at the Zadonsky training centre.
Six stages were passed by participants of the professional skills competition of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division. The strongest gathered here. 54 participants were selected according to the results of check. The program included both theoretical and practical assignments.
The first stage of the competition program included checking knowledge with the computer. At the second stage, the crews demonstrated their skills in resuscitation of a victim. Then the participants of the competitions removed a 10 kV high-voltage line out of service and replaced a high-voltage fuse in a package transformer substation. The final task was to extinguish fire in a transformer substation.
The team of Usmansky Distribution Zone won the title of the best first responding mobile crew. It scored 628 points out of 650 possible. Representatives of Lebedyansky Distribution Zone took home the "silver" of the competition, their result - 626 points. The crew of Khlevensky Distribution Zone rose to the third step of the pedestal, it had 613 points.
Competitions of professional skills are held annually. According to the management of the branch, they support the desire of personnel to increase the level of professional training, which ultimately leads to improvement in the quality of service of low voltage distribution networks. But it is the lines of 0.4-10 kV that provide electricity for all cities and villages in the Lipetsk region.
"Reliability of power supply and safety during work - these are the two key requirements that the power engineers must strictly perform. And the today’s competition is another proof that Lipetskenergo’s crews are ready to fulfill their tasks. It was slightly more complicated for the participants than in their daily work: the competitive excitement and strict control of judges disturbed them. But all coped well. I am proud of the participants and sincerely congratulate the winners. You are the best of the best," said at the competition end Director of IDGC of Centre - Lipetskenergo division Sergey Koval.
