Hotline of power engineering specialists:
On the initiative of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo, for pupils of the 9th grade of the Temkinsky secondary school, a tour was held to Temkinsky Distribution Zone of the branch.
Senior high school students were told how the power grid complex of the district is managed and what kind of education is needed to work in the energy sector. The schoolchildren visited the control room, got acquainted with premises of the Distribution Zone, talked with power engineers.
Also, the pupils were told about the rules of behaviour near power plants, the dangers of electric shock, reminded of the need to be cautious in handling household appliances.
Co-operation with local educational institutions is an important part of the work of power engineers in terms of vocational guidance.
