IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division finished the Week of Giving Books, timed to coincide with the All-Russian Day of Libraries. Within the framework of this action, power engineers collected and donated about 500 copies of art and popular science literature, children’s books and textbooks to library No. 6 in the city of Kostroma.
Employees of the cultural institution thanked them for their assistance. "To replenish funds independently it is now quite difficult for libraries - books are not cheap. And thanks to such social actions, they sometimes can get really valuable publications. Thank you very much for the power engineers for every book donated to our library," stressed the head of library No. 6 Lyudmila Belyaeva.
The action to donate books has become a good tradition for Kostromaenergo. Employees of the branch annually help libraries replenish book funds. Since 2015, power engineers have given several thousand books to the city and regional libraries.
