IDGC of Centre - Belgorodenergo division in the current year will begin complex modernization of equipment at the 35 kV substation "Nikolskoye" in Belgorodsky district. Reconstruction of the facility will be performed using elements of digitalization. 126 million rubles without VAT were allocated for the project.
The project provides for an increase in the power of the feeding centre from 2.5 to 8 MW and complete replacement of equipment. On the open switchgear site, instead of oil switches, it is planned to install modern 35 kV highly reliable vacuum reclosers.
Digital technologies will be applied in automation and equipment management systems. Thus, obsolete relay protection and automation devices will be replaced with modern software systems on the microprocessor element base by using IEC standards (digital substation) integrated with devices of the automated dispatch control system. All data on parameters of the substation operation, emergency processes, remote measurements, control and signalling will be transmitted via digital data channels to the Branch Grid Control Centre. This will increase the observability of technological processes, provide remote control of switching devices and relay protection equipment, perform remote diagnostics and monitoring of technical condition and significantly reduce operating costs for servicing the power facility.
The work is scheduled to be completed in 2019. Reconstruction of the substation "Nikolskoye" will contribute to improving the reliability of electricity supply in a number of settlements and several micro-districts of individual housing construction of Belgorodsky district, including socially important and life support facilities.
