Hotline of power engineering specialists:
Employees of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division held a meeting with schoolchildren of senior grades of the municipal budgetary general education institutions of Sudzhan School No. 1 and No. 2. The event was organized with the purpose of acquaintance of the schoolchildren with the peculiarities of the power engineering profession and attracting the interest of the youth to work in the industry. About 80 children took part in it.
Lyudmila Mokrousova, the head of the HR department of the branch, acquainted the senior pupils with the history and today of Kurskenergo, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, spoke about the social guarantees provided by the enterprise to young specialists and job opportunities. The chief of Sudzhansky Distribution Zone of Kurskenergo Alexander Galushkin spoke about the team of the Distribution Zone headed by him, about large substations and power lines that power engineers reconstruct and repair for providing reliable power supply to consumers of the district, invited the schoolchildren to a tour.
"The meeting of high school students with the energy specialists turned out to be useful and informative. It is useful for children to broaden their understanding of the power engineering profession. Perhaps the today’s conversation for one of our pupils will be the starting point in choosing a future profession," stressed Natalia Sorochinskaya, Director of Sudzhan School No. 2.
Until the end of 2018, the staff of the branch will hold about 20 vocational guidance meetings and lectures for high school students.
