Within a month’s campaign on children’s electrical safety, since the end of April 2018, power engineers of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division have been conducting thematic sessions in the Smolensk region to remind children of the rules of behaviour with electrical appliances in everyday life and in the street.
Thematic events in April were held in 30 schools in the Smolensk region. During May, power engineers conducted another 15 lessons. Thus, several hundred schoolchildren repeated the rules of electrical safety before the onset of summer holidays. When talking with the children on the topic of electrical safety, the employees of the branch reminded of the observance of the electrical safety rules when handling household electric appliances and when they were near power facilities in the street.
In addition, within the month’s campaign on electrical safety information on how to properly use electrical appliances and behave in the vicinity of power facilities is posted on sites of municipalities in the Smolensk region, in regional print and electronic media, on the TV channels "Russia 24" and "The Fifth Channel", and social networks.
