Specialists of Tambovenergo on the eve of summer holidays conducted a series of lessons on electrical safety in schools of the Tambov region

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division on the eve of summer holidays organized a month’s campaign on "electrical safety", within the framework of which a series of lessons on the prevention of children’s electric injuries was held in schools of the Tambov region.

The power engineers told the children about the basic rules of electrical safety and the importance of warning signs installed on electrical equipment, showed them thematic videos, demonstrated methods of providing first aid to a victim with electric shock.

In total, the classes were held in educational institutions in 23 districts of the region, more than two thousand schoolchildren took part in them.

Lessons in electrical safety are one of the most important activities of the program to reduce risks of injuries to third parties at Tambovenergo’s power facilities. During the school year, employees of the enterprise conduct them in educational institutions, and during holidays - in children’s health camps. This summer, the power engineers will hold about 20 lessons, their participants will be more than three thousand children and adolescents.
