Employees of Kostromaenergo planted new trees along the "Alleys of Power Engineers"

Employees of IDGC of Centre - Kostromaenergo division in the first half of May added new green spaces along the "Alleys of Power Engineers", planted by them earlier in different parts of the Kostroma region. The work was carried out in Distribution Zones of the enterprise and in Kostroma near the regional philharmonic hall, veterans of the enterprise took part in them. Altogether, more than 300 trees were planted, among them pine, birch, maple, oak, ash.

The first "Alleys of Power Engineers" were laid by workers of Kostromaenergo in 2011 in Victory Park and on the territory of St. Tikhon’s Church. In 2012, specialists of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Kostroma region joined the action and planted ash trees with them along the Friendship Alley, located in the park of the Noble Assembly. At the same time, with the support of the Governor of the Kostroma region Sergey Sitnikov, the "Alley of Power Engineers" was laid at the regional philharmonic hall at the entrance to Kostroma. Since then, it is replenished every year with new breeds of shrubs and ash trees. And along the "Alleys of Power Engineers" in districts of the region power engineers together with veterans and the youth of the enterprise, students of universities and technical schools plant annually hundreds of coniferous, deciduous and fruit trees.
