All 38 structural subdivisions of IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division, including 30 Distribution Zones, are fully prepared for safe performance of mass repair work. This decision was made by the central commission under the chairmanship of Vyacheslav Istomin, the chief engineer of the branch, based on the results of checking organizational and technical measures conducted in Kurskenergo aimed at preventing industrial injuries. All units were given certificates of readiness for the safe performance of repair and maintenance work at power facilities.
This year, Kurskenergo’s specialists will repair equipment at 45 substations of 35-110 kV, repair 421 transformer substations and a distribution centre and over 2 thousand kilometres of power lines.
To reduce the risk of technological disturbances caused by falling trees on a power line, 772.9 hectares of power lines will be cleared from tree and shrub vegetation.
About 350 million rubles will be allocated for the repair program implementation.
