Staff of the Grid Control Centre (GCC) and operational and technological groups of IDGC of Centre - Bryanskenergo division arrived in Smolensk on a working visit. The purpose of the trip was to study the experience of colleagues from the Smolensk branch of IDGC of Centre.
The operators visited the 110 kV "Zavodskaya" substation, got acquainted with modern electrical equipment, control systems. The colleagues from Bryansk paid particular attention to the experience of IDGC of Centre - Smolenskenergo division in the field of operational and technological management.
Also, the Bryansk colleagues visited Smolenskenergo’s Grid Control Centre. A tour for them was conducted by Lyudmila Solodovnikova, the deputy head of the operational service of the Grid Control Centre. She introduced to the old and new premises of the Centre, equipment, the most interesting and modern technologies of power system management. The operators were able to observe the work of colleagues in real time and ask questions of interest about the work, the history of the development of the GCC.
The representatives of Bryanskenergo were interested in the process of implementing the best practices in developing effective management of electric grids. The guests highly appreciated the degree of personnel training and the general management system of the GCC of Smolenskenergo. The Bryansk colleagues took note of the experience in maintaining documentation, etc. As a result of the visit, the parties determined the prospects and directions for further cooperation.
"Smolenskenergo is open for cooperation and exchange of experience with energy specialists from other regions of Russia. We are happy to share our experience and listen to suggestions and wishes of our colleagues," noted Lyudmila Solodovnikova.
