Power engineers of Tverenergo continue emergency and recovery work in the Tver region

22.04.2018

Specialists of the Tver branch of IDGC of Centre in the round-the-clock mode continue to restore electricity supply, disrupted as a result of the hurricane that hit several regions of the Central Federal District on the day of 21 April. In the Tver region as a result of the bad weather, power lines of all voltage classes were damaged, a number of feeding centres were de-energized.

Currently, due to the damage to the power lines, settlements remain de-energized in Zapadnodvinsky, Vyshnevolotsky, Zubtsovsky, Kalininsky, Kesovogorsky, Kimrsky, Nelidovsky, Ostashkovsky, Penovsky, Spirovsky, Staritsky, Torzhoksky and Toropetsy districts. In the main grid, 110 kV transmission lines and 4 35 kV transmission lines are disconnected. Tverenergo continues to operate a special mode, the branch operates its 24-hour crisis management centre for preventing the effects of bad weather.

IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division refers to residents of the Tver region with a request to observe safety measures at the moment of emergency power outages! While in the street, pay attention to the condition of power lines. Remember that it is deadly dangerous to approach saggy or ragged wires! If there is a broken wire on your path, do not approach it closer than 8 metres. If you are at a closer distance - walk away from the wire "goose step", not taking your feet off the ground. Also observe the electrical safety rules when connecting independent power supplies. Autonomous power supplies (gasoline, diesel or gas generators) are connected with the written permission of the grid company to connect to the power grid. Work should be done by a person who has the right to perform electrical work. A prerequisite for connection of the autonomous power supplies to the customer’s grid is the presence of interlocking devices that exclude the possibility of simultaneous power supply to the customer’s grid and to the grid of IDGC of Centre - Tverenergo division.

Residents of the Tver region can be report on power outages by toll-free numbers at 8-800-50-50-115, 13-50 (for fixed telephones), and also by phone +7 915-38-000-38 in Telegram and Viber.
